About Black Knight II

Williams Interactive Gaming is responsible for the development of Black Knight II, and they took this responsibility pretty seriously to produce a really fine online video slot. This is a five reel, forty pay-line game, and is a follow on to the first in the series – Black Knight. It offers a coin bet range of from 0.01 to 5.00, meaning a maximum bet over forty lines will cost a pretty penny – 200.00 to be precise. There is however a maximum in-game jackpot prize of 6000.00, and although this is not a progressive prize slot, there are plenty of ways to win with free spins.

Special Features

This is not the Batman “Black Knight” theme, it is a Medieval Knight type of theme. So, if Medieval stories of knights in shining armour, fighting for honour and glory float your boat, this game could be perfect for you. Although it is a little childishly graphically rendered and ambient sounds are the same, so, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

We found it to be not all that aesthetically pleasing, but other players might disagree. The second rendering of this game is fortunately an improvement on the first in the series, which is as it should be.

Icons are the Black Knight which is Wild, and a shield with crossed swords which is the feature symbol which presumable opens the bonus round. Other symbols include a King, Princess, Jester, Crown, Sceptre, while other icons are regular card indices. When the wild icon drops onto reels two, three, or four, the Black Knight Icon expands, and stays locked in place for the duration of the free spins awarded. As many as twelve sticky wilds can be won, and when three locked, expanded wilds are lined up the player is able to line up some rather large wins.

Bonus Features

Black Knight II is a free spins based game which offers more of these in the bonus feature. When the Shield feature symbol drops on reels one, two and three this feature is triggers, unlocking seven free spins together with a 1x multiplier that can be retriggered time and again, but at the same time is also capped, and will not continue indefinitely.
