Realistic, one of the more innovative and award-winning software providers, has released their first progressive jackpot title. The game that goes by the name of Funky Spin brings a variety of interesting and refreshing features to the market.
This new title is interesting from a technical point of view as well. The brand has implemented some of its proprietary solutions which should enable potential operators to run the game with much more control than usual.
One of the most interesting aspects of this slot is the theme, but not in the usual sense. Instead of trying to give the theme depth through intriguing visuals and high-end graphics, Realistic went with an approach that is much truer to their name – they went 3D.
This new slot game is packed neatly into their well-known 3D cabinet. Depending on what device the player is accessing the game with, it can be loaded in 2D or 3D. Since the entire thing is based on HTML5, potential B2B clients can expect a smooth service no matter how they decide to implement the game into their existing platform.
As far as the game’s base mechanics go, players will enjoy a somewhat classic slot experience with 3 reels and 5 paylines.
The progressive jackpot is arguably the most interesting part of this title’s spec sheet. It comes in three progressive tiers – Gold, Silver, and Bronze across every stake level. This way the player has a choice of 24 different options they can play. That puts an interesting spin on the standard progressive jackpot layout.
Robert Lee, Commercial Director at Realistic Games, offered his comment on the new release: “We’re delighted to release Funky Spin as our very first progressive slot, and are confident it’s going to get everyone in the groove. The rapid-fire jackpot wins and different pot sizes on offer are perfect for today’s player and we feel it will really resonate with a wide spectrum of both operators and customers.”
Realistic is a company that has been around for quite a while. Founded in 2002, they have been servicing the online casino and iGaming markets with a whole array of products. The initial team that got the ball rolling was full of talented, experienced individuals who managed to get the company off the ground and into a few lucrative partnerships.
The supplier’s initial exposure to consumer markets was based on third-party operators. The company soon found out that doing business this way just wasn’t cutting it anymore. This changed in 2008 when they branched out and developed their own library. These days, the team is working hard on developing new games, implementing new technologies and generally providing their users with great products.
It appears that they have taken a slow and steady approach to growth, which should translate to stability over longer time frames. We are most likely going to see a few more interesting titles from this software provider in the near future.
