WMS Gaming has aimed to make this game more entertaining than its predecessors, although there are elements of Zeus 1,000 which do seem a bit samey. The slot is played over 2 sets of reels. There are a standard 5 reels in the typical base game set, and 5 colossal reels away to the right of those, with a total of 100 paylines present on those reels. Special Features
Zeus 1,000’s wild icon is the Parthenon. When it appears, it can replace all other symbols in the game, with the exception of the bonus icon. Wilds cannot appear on the colossal reels set, individually. However, if there are four stacked wild icons appearing on the main reel set, they can transfer over onto the colossal reels. Wilds are also the best paying symbols in Zeus 1,000, being worth the non-progressive jackpot if you get 5 on a payline.
The thunderbolt is the bonus icon, and it is capable of appearing on the first, third, and fifth reels on the main reel set, and the first, third, and fifth reels of the colossal reel set. This symbol can trigger 10, 15, 20, or 30 free spins, with scattered wins of 2x, 10x, 20x, or 25x your total bet if 3, 4, 5 or 6 appear anywhere on the reels.
The Zeus icon can appear stacked and if it does, it is one of the few symbols which is capable of transferring itself over to the colossal reels.
Bonus Feature
A secondary bonus icon is also present in this game. Known as the Wonus icon, it is represented by a red thunderbolt icon. It is quite similar to the standard bonus icon. Any of these bonus icons appearing on the colossal reel set will be wild icons for all symbols in the bonus round, even the bonus icons on the colossal reel sets.
