Thunderkick has a reputation for building slots that are out of the ordinary, and Fruit Warp is no exception. Not exactly a traditional three or five reel slot with a whole host of pay-lines to activate.

Special Features

The introduction to this great gambling game opens with an orange hanging from a tree. It is sucked off the tree to join other fruit being swept away – basically sucked into a Fruit Warp. We find grapes, star-fruit, plums, oranges, bananas, cherries, strawberries and some other fruit we cannot identify, floating on a green screen. Press spin to win and more fruit is thrown at the screen, where they float and make winning combinations. Apparently this slot features nine different levels, but we did not really have enough time (or perhaps not enough luck) to enter all of these.

As with most Thunderkick slots there is no pay-line structure, and it almost seems random when we win, but also seems to work. Bet size can be chosen by the player, starting at 0.10, increasing to 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, and so on until 100.00 is reached, and this is the maximum wager. Auto-play may also be activated, and changed by the player, as well as stopped at any point in play.

Bonus Feature

Winning combinations are made up of three or more of the same kind of fruit landing on the screen. When four of the same appear, then, they turn into swirling portals which grants a re-spin. When five of the same symbols land on the screen, this wins a fruit mode. We believe a fruit mode activates a Warp Meter. This activates in steps, where steps contain dynamic multipliers, as well as extra lives. Match the same fruit to the Fruit Mode, and new re-spins are granted.

Dynamic multipliers increase in value on every win, and their activated value is locked. The amount of symbols in a win determines this multiplier increment, while an activated life grants one extra re-spin. We managed to unlock the Orange mode for a smallish win, and Strawberries for an unbelievable win of 4 500.00, but do please bear in mind we were also playing the maximum bet of 100.00.
