About Black Hawk

Black Hawk is a simple online slot machine from Wazdan, a developer who are known for being as basic as possible when it comes to the design of their games. There is a mystical darkness which surrounds the theme of this game, and its decent-enough 3D graphics do try to highlight that, even if the true nature of the slot’s storyline is never truly revealed to us. Black Hawk offers up 54 paylines which criss-cross their way over the 4 reels in the game. Yes, 4 reels, as opposed to the usual 5 reels. Players can choose to play with coins which have values worth between 0.01 and 1.00, and bet as many as 100 coins per spin. Wagers are restricted to 0.01 per spin, and 100.00 per spin, too, which is bizarre since you do not get to alter the number of lines in the game. At most, landing the black hawk symbol on any payline in the game will deliver wins worth 500 coins in total.

Special Features

A wild symbol is available for you to pocket wins with, given that it can substitute for all other symbols without exception. However, it is worth noting that a combination of 3 wilds does not constitute a win. The symbol takes on the shape of a “wild” orb.

We don’t know if Wazdan were intending this game to be primitive, or if they were just lazy, but the fact of the matter is that Wazdan’s Black Hawk slot has virtually nothing to offer players. The gameplay is dull and dreary, there are only 4 reels (for reasons best known to its developers), and the lack of scatters, free spins and/or instant win bonuses makes the gameplay rather linear, with few moments of excitement in the game.
